Guru Purnima is one of the most important festivals of the year in the Indian Vedic tradition, in which honour is paid to the Guru (Master) and the whole day is spent in a celebration of devotion, singing bhajans, a fire, a feast, and as a marking point of the beginning of an austerity, or a practice or resolution of some kind for the year ahead. This is also a day of special blessing from the guru. It is regarded as a cornerstone of the relationship between guru and student. The whole celebration will last about 8 hours and will start at midday. There is no charge for this festival - an offering or donation of some kind is suggested. You are welcome to bring food to share if you wish. You are heartily invited to share this day with Kriyaji and bathe in the fire of her love!! Kriyaji will also be doing sound healing on this day. This is also an extra special time as Kriyaji is undergoing her own process and is manifesting Divine Blessings - Divine liquid (Amrita) is spontaneously appearing from her body.
