What is a Darshan?

Darshan is a blessing given by God. It is received in the presence of a living God or through a consecrated Murti. It may be experienced as goosebumps, a flash of energy felt in the body, an illumination of the mind and heart. The devotee is left with a feeling of peace and tranquility. As Kriyaji is an Avatar, simply to be in Her presence is Darshan and is keenly felt by those who have visited Nithya Nilayam.
