"The Lingams"
What is a Shiva Lingam?
The word, ‘Lingam’ in Sanskrit means, ‘symbol’. Shiva Lingam, therefore means symbol of Lord Shiva and is therefore considered most sacred by Shaivaites. Shiva Lingam has been worshipped in Hinduism since its very beginning. Worship of the Shiva Lingam is regarded as sacred and superior.
The form of the Shiva Lingam is male whilst the container is female – symbolising the Cosmic orgasm of Creation and the marriage of Shiva and Shakti.
"The Lingam is the symbol of concentrated Cosmic energy expressing and expanding in all directions of time, therefore it is Eternal, with no beginning and no end. The formless, the unmanifested divine cosmic energy is the Eternal chant travelling via the time light continnum through creation, emitting through each atom of space thy Supernal Holy Presence. Unnamable, indescribable, ineffable. It exists and never ceases to exist. It is a divine force.
When Babaji was talking about the mantra OM NAMAH SHIVAYA, He was also referring to the fact that each atom of space cannot be defined by boundaries. He referred to this mantra as being more powerful then an atomic bomb but all that he was delivering was a very deep mystical Truth. The Lingam is the OM NAMAH SHIVAYA. It has the same atomic structure in the above dimensions of light."
