"Meditation"
The Temple Sutra
If there is one Temple,
it is your body, your mind.
That is the Eternal witness and
the resemblance of the true Self
that by constant meditation
has awakened and shines the rays of Its existence!
~ Kriyaji
What is meditation?
‘Meditation is the experience of true consciousness. By applying a certain discipline called concentration or dharana, the numerous emerging thoughts of distraction, corruption, illusion and fantasy are brought to a gradual reduction, until complete emptiness of thought from the mind occurs. By so doing the gem of awareness arises within, bringing absence of thought and stillness of the mind.’ ~ Kriyaji
Meditation provides food for the soul, body and mind. It reminds us gently and steadily of our true origins. With the demands of modern life, many people feel stressed, confused and unable to cope. Tiredness and exhaustion become the norm within ones own rhythm of life.
Meditation is the way to reduce stress. It gives more space for clarity, so that better decisions are made and meeting the challenges of ones daily life is managed more easily with calmness and mastery.
Just fifteen minutes daily meditation can greatly reduce the negative intensity of life’s cascading events and emotions and allows peace, balance, harmony and the nurturing of body, mind and soul to take place.

"Meditation is the absence of chaos.
It is the space of reflection of the self with the Self."
The fruits of meditation
Meditation is even more than this. Really, it is a state and not an activity. It is something you are, not something you do. Meditation is the state after the dissolution and dissipation of all moving thoughts.
It is the stillness of the mind in the wind. It is the mastery of the elements of nature and of the inner nature by the constant natural application of detachment. It is the beatitude and bliss of self- awareness and of that space arising in the observer experiencing consciousness as it is.
It is the emergence of the lotus of awareness raised by each breath; the glory of the union of ones owns finitude with the Eternal. It is the resting place for all emotions bathed by the light of awareness.
"Most of the activities of the mind are constituted by thought.
Thought is creative.
And from thought realities are then born.
The mind becomes the creator."
And from the pool of Creative Intelligence, 70% of the entire energy is born into thought that in turns creates realities. The remaining 30% dwells in pure Intelligence.
The human mind when not emptied of thought is structured by a flexible grid of thought that obscures the Absolute (30%).
By the practice of meditation one allows this flexible grid thought form to gently dissolve and suspend. One is then more able to experience the Absolute.
Meditation is just being. Be in the stillness that resides within but that one cannot see because of layers of distracting thoughts.
Meditation means to free oneself from all concepts, ideas, and beliefs.
When you learn to enter awareness then you know that you always have been that awareness, and that there is nothing to become.
Meditation is the experience that teaches you to drop everything that you thought you are and that you were taught.
Meditation is neither this nor that. And that is “Neti, neti”.
